About Lafleur Wine Investment
Lafleur Wine Investment is a Geneva-based fine wine advisory firm serving private clients who wish to build meaningful wine portfolios with clarity, discipline, and a long-term perspective. Each portfolio is shaped individually to balance capital preservation, appreciation potential, and the enduring prestige and cultural value of fine wine.

An Investment Philosophy Grounded in Permanence
Fine wine has been accumulating value for centuries. That is where our thinking starts.
We do not treat it as a speculative commodity. The asset class has a long record of appreciation, and it rewards careful curation far more than market timing. The most durable collections are built on access to the right producers at the right moment, not on watching price indices.
Commercially, we are structured to remove conflict of interest. We take no markup on acquisitions. We hold no stock. Our 12 per cent commission covers the first three years of bonded storage and insurance and is stated upfront, before anything is agreed. Our 10 per cent profit share is charged only when your portfolio performs. The business works when yours does.
We built this structure deliberately. The alternative, opaque pricing and misaligned incentives, is common in this industry. It does not serve clients, so we do not use it.

How We Work
Every engagement starts with a conversation. No form to fill in, no automated onboarding, no requirement to commit. We want to understand where you are, what you are trying to achieve, and whether fine wine is the right vehicle for part of your portfolio at this point.
If we work together, the portfolio is built around your goals. Some clients come primarily for returns. Others want a collection that carries real financial value alongside the pleasure of ownership. Most are somewhere between the two. We do not apply a template to any of them.
Day to day, the work is hands-on. We present acquisition opportunities when they arise, explain the reasoning behind each one, and manage the full logistics chain from purchase to bonded storage with our partner Hillebrand in Beaune. You receive documentation on everything your portfolio holds.
There is no monthly commitment. You invest when an opportunity suits you, in amounts that fit your wider financial picture. You stay in control throughout.
Sourcing, Network, and Logistics
The quality of a fine wine portfolio comes down to access.
The most sought-after allocations from Burgundy's top domaines and Piedmont's finest producers do not reach open markets. They move through relationships, and those relationships take years to build and maintain. Working with négociants, domaines, and specialist merchants across France and Italy. We travel to Burgundy and Piedmont regularly, staying close to producers, harvests, and the conditions that determine which vintages will carry lasting value.
For storage and logistics, we work with Hillebrand, a specialist wine logistics provider with bonded warehouse facilities in Beaune. Every bottle is stored professionally, fully insured, and documented from acquisition through to any eventual sale or delivery.
